After sitting here for quite some while, I have decided that this lizard is of the whiptail family. If you have any evidence to support or refute what I have researched on the internet, please share!

I saw this Lizard while walking in the Jungle near Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica.

definitely some sort of whiptail. There are some around where I live, only they have solid stripes, and blue tails, i love them ♥
